Equity Research Analyst

About the role

Frontier Axis Research is seeking a full‑time remote Equity Research Analyst to deepen its coverage of frontier and emerging markets. You will combine macroeconomic insight with rigorous financial analysis to produce actionable investment research.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research on frontier and emerging market economies, politics, and industries.
• Develop, maintain, and update financial models to assess valuations and investment performance.
• Analyse macro‑economic trends, governance issues, and political‑economy factors.
• Produce clear, concise reports that deliver actionable investment insights.
• Contribute to the firm’s overall research agenda and collaborate with senior analysts.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities for data interpretation, trend identification and market analysis.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with frontier or emerging markets.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and a solid understanding of capital markets.
• Experience conducting high‑quality research on economic, political and market dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and thrive in a remote environment.
• Educational background in Economics, Finance or a related field; advanced degrees or CFA designation preferred.
