Senior Corporate Economist

About the role

The Senior Corporate Economist will turn macro‑economic trends and market data into actionable strategies that support executive decision‑making. You will forecast market conditions, identify financial risks, and help shape pricing structures to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Track and forecast key economic indicators such as inflation, exchange rates, and GDP to assess business impact.
• Conduct quantitative research on consumer demand, industry trends, and competitor behavior to guide expansion and product positioning.
• Build and maintain econometric models that optimise pricing strategies and commercial resource allocation.
• Prepare concise economic reports and dashboards for the executive team to support risk management and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics or a highly quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an economist, business analyst or data analyst in a corporate, finance or consulting environment.
• Proven ability to use data and economic theory to influence commercial outcomes.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Python, R, Stata or advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, regression modelling and time‑series forecasting.
