Accounts Clerk – Harare, Zimbabwe

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our finance team in Harare. The successful candidate will handle day‑to‑day financial transactions and provide essential support to the accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Support filing, documentation and record‑keeping.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Accountant.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification or part‑qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ZICA) is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
