Warehouse Operator – Efficient Goods Handling

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator at Sandvik AB you will ensure the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse, supporting manufacturing and distribution by handling inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
• Store items in designated locations using forklifts, pallet jacks or reach trucks.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Load outbound shipments onto trucks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on material‑handling equipment.
• Follow safety regulations, including handling hazardous materials when required.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and keep the warehouse organized.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
