Field Youth-Led Enterprise Support Consultant (Mutare & Mutasa)

About the role

SNV Zimbabwe is seeking a Field Youth‑Led Enterprise Support Consultant to provide hands‑on mentorship and business development assistance to youth‑led enterprises in the Mutare and Mutasa districts. The role supports the second phase of the Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (YEE) Project, aiming to strengthen the commercial viability and market integration of start‑ups in agri‑food, renewable energy and emerging sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop individual growth plans for at least 100 youth‑led enterprises per district from Cohort 1 (established 2025).
• Deliver structured coaching sessions covering advanced technical, business management and market linkage topics (M2 and M3 levels).
• Create and implement growth plans for 50 new enterprises from Cohort 2 (established 2026).
• Track performance indicators such as sales and jobs created, and update the LogAlto system regularly.
• Support governance, record‑keeping and market participation to prevent early‑stage failures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, mentorship or enterprise support, preferably in youth‑led contexts.
• Familiarity with agri‑food, renewable energy or related emerging sectors in Zimbabwe.
• Ability to travel and work onsite in Mutare and Mutasa districts.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor enterprise performance and report findings.
