Excavator Operator – Harare, Zimbabwe

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Excavator Operator to join our construction team in Harare. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently to support various excavation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate an excavator safely and efficiently to perform excavation duties.
• Load material and stock‑pile as required.
• Conduct daily pre‑start checks and perform basic maintenance.
• Report any faults or issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid certificate in excavation from a recognized training institution.
• At least two O‑Level qualifications.
• Clean Class 2 driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Excavator operation.
• Equipment pre‑start checks.
• Basic equipment maintenance.
