Capital Markets Manager – Supervision & Market Development

About the role

The Centre invites applications for a middle‑management position responsible for the development and supervision of capital markets within the Centre. We are seeking a technically strong and execution‑focused professional who will support the implementation of the Centre’s capital markets framework, supervise market participants, and drive growth in listings, trading activity, and new financial products. This role offers the chance to help build and scale a new capital markets ecosystem, gain exposure to international investors and institutions, and be directly involved in market development and product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Support licensing and supervision of broker‑dealers, investment firms, exchanges, and collective investment schemes
• Implement market conduct, trading, and surveillance frameworks
• Oversee disclosure and listing requirements
• Support development of listings, funds, and innovative products
• Conduct supervisory reviews and enforce compliance
• Engage with market participants and support business development initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related field
• 5–10 years’ experience in capital markets regulation, exchange operations, investment banking, or asset management
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc or equivalent) preferred
• Professional certifications (CFA, CISI or equivalent) an added advantage
• Strong understanding of securities markets, trading, and market conduct
• Experience in an exchange, regulator, or investment‑firm environment preferred
