Workshop Manager – Expats Opportunity in Zimbabwe

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our workshop operations in Zimbabwe. The role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, high‑quality output while managing a team of technicians and supporting staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of technicians and support personnel.
• Design and implement efficient workflow processes to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor resource allocation, inventory levels and order supplies as required.
• Coordinate with vendors and the finance department to manage budgets and control costs.
• Enforce quality control measures and conduct regular inspections.
• Maintain safety standards, deliver training and resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing workshop operations on heavy‑duty machinery.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse problems, propose solutions and think strategically.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Weichai, XCMG, Rondebult, CAT, Powerstar and Howo equipment.
• Knowledge of heavy‑duty machinery maintenance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
