Web/Digital Project Manager

About the role

Webdev (Pvt) Ltd, Zimbabwe’s leading web hosting and digital services provider, is looking for an experienced, highly organised and client‑focused Web/Digital Project Manager to join its Web Development team. This client‑facing role will oversee the full lifecycle of web and digital projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent web and digital projects from initiation to launch, maintaining detailed project plans, timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate developers, designers, QA, hosting and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Serve as the primary client contact, leading kick‑offs, review meetings, demonstrations and project close‑outs.
• Define and control project scope, handle change requests and assess cost, timeline and resource impacts.
• Maintain accurate documentation, approvals and decision logs, providing regular status updates to management.
• Oversee testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and launch activities, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing web or digital projects with strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while monitoring risks and blockers.
• Commercial awareness and confidence handling complex client relationships.
• Commitment to project governance, scope control and delivery discipline.
