Tele-Medical Delegate

About the role

The Tele‑Medical Delegate will champion the importance of breastfeeding and infant nutrition during the first 1,000 days. Based at Nestlé’s Harare head office, you will detail the Nestlé Infant Nutrition (NIN) portfolio to healthcare professionals (HCPs) using both face‑to‑face and remote interaction models.

Key responsibilities

• Detail NIN products and concepts to an assigned territory of roughly 1,000 HCPs.
• Manage territory activities including prospecting, insight gathering, and execution of action plans.
• Maintain master data, HCP classification, and segmentation using CRM tools.
• Plan and monitor call rates, strike rates, and compliance with the WHO International Code and Nestlé instructions.
• Utilise digital devices for data capture and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, Food Science, Dietetics, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmacology.
• Minimum of 2 years experience detailing nutrition or pharmaceutical products.
• Bi‑ or multi‑lingual ability (at least two local languages).
• Strong planning, communication, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Self‑starter, result‑driven, adaptable and willing to travel.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with digital device data management.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
