Technical Officer – Tax Accounting

About the role

The Technical Officer will join ZITA’s Technical Department to support tax‑related initiatives across the organisation. This position combines research, technical assistance, and collaboration with education programmes, requiring a strong interest in tax accounting and legislative developments.

Key responsibilities

• Research general tax issues and stay up‑to‑date with tax legislation.
• Provide technical support to the technical, education, and other internal departments and committees.
• Collaborate with the ZITA Education Officer and relevant committees on education programmes.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports related to tax matters.

Required profile

• Passion for the technical side of tax accounting.
• Strong drive to research topical tax issues and legislation.
• Interest in education and ability to work on training programmes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and strong mathematical abilities.
