Staff Accountant – Remote Part‑Time

About the role

Dash Stone Growth Partners is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant based in Zimbabwe to provide fractional accounting support for US‑based clients. This remote, part‑time position involves 31–50 hours per month and requires availability during US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Review and transition existing accounting processes, system setups, and financial package formats.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and budget‑vs‑actual reports.
• Complete bank reconciliations, cash‑balance reviews, and reserve/investment account activity checks.
• Support property‑management accounting using Buildium, ensuring chart‑of‑accounts consistency and cash‑basis reporting.
• Prepare board and stakeholder financial reports, flagging discrepancies before finalisation.
• Assist with annual budget preparation, year‑end close, and provide schedules for tax accountants.
• Review AP/AR activity, answer coding questions, and coordinate month‑end close items.
• Document and improve monthly financial reporting processes for continuity.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with strong attention to detail.
• Based in Zimbabwe and able to work remotely.
• Available during US business hours and fluent in English.
• Comfortable handling multiple client engagements on a recurring basis.
