Senior Associate – Legal Practitioner (Harare)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate – Legal Practitioner to join our Harare office on a contract basis. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality legal advice, draft and review documents, and represent clients in court across a variety of practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex commercial, civil and criminal matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, conveyancing documents, wills and trusts.
• Represent clients in court hearings and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Provide legal consultation services and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage case files, conduct legal research and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Law degree with membership or eligibility for registration with the Law Society of Zimbabwe.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in a legal environment, including completed CPTs.
• Strong organisational and case‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
