Senior Associate – AI Governance, Legal Technology & Regulatory Advisory

About the role

Curia Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate to join its early‑stage venture focused on AI governance, legal technology and regulatory advisory. The role is project‑based and flexible, allowing you to contribute to high‑impact client engagements, research initiatives and thought‑leadership activities while helping shape the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal and regulatory research on AI, cybersecurity, data protection and compliance.
• Support the design of AI governance frameworks, policies and organisational guidelines.
• Assist in preparing advisory proposals, client deliverables and professional reports.
• Review and contribute to legal‑technology and governance documentation.
• Help develop and deliver workshops, training programmes and executive briefings.
• Produce thought‑leadership content, articles and industry commentary.
• Analyse emerging technology risks and advise organisations on practical responses.
• Collaborate with the Curia team to create innovative advisory solutions.

Required profile

• Admitted legal practitioner with strong commercial and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, technology governance and emerging regulatory issues.
• Ability to bridge law, business and technology, conduct high‑quality research and develop practical frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for professional audiences and confidence as a strategic thought partner.
