Security Associate

About the role

A full-time Security Associate position in Harare, Zimbabwe, focused on protecting company facilities and enforcing safety and confidentiality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to facilities to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular patrols and security inspections to identify vulnerabilities.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies or alarms.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents and visitor movements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and internal teams to strengthen the overall security posture.
• Enforce company policies on safety, confidentiality and conduct.
• Operate and maintain security equipment, including surveillance systems and access control devices.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in security operations.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, risk assessment and emergency response strategies.
• Excellent observational skills and the ability to stay vigilant under pressure.
• Professional demeanor with high integrity and discretion.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Any required certifications or licenses mandated for security roles in Zimbabwe.
