Sales Engineer – Technical Sales for Mining Solutions

About the role

Epiroc Zimbabwe is seeking a Sales Engineer to deliver world‑class mining and infrastructure solutions across its product portfolio. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients improve safety, productivity and profitability through innovative equipment and services.

Key responsibilities

• Territory management – identify growth opportunities, manage accounts and increase market penetration.
• Customer engagement – build lasting relationships, understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Sales strategy execution – collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement targeted sales plans.
• Technical support – deliver product demonstrations, technical guidance and ensure successful deployment.
• Reporting and forecasting – maintain accurate sales data, pipeline visibility and performance metrics.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in product marketing or technical sales with a proven track record.
• Solid technical knowledge of underground and rock excavation equipment such as drill rigs, loaders and consumables.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in a hybrid or field‑based environment.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Technical knowledge of underground and rock excavation equipment.
