Resources Management Officer (RMO) – Mobility EOI

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Resources Management Officer (RMO) to support the financial, human‑resources and administrative functions of its Country Office and Sub‑Office(s). Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with the Senior Regional Resources Management Officer, the RMO will ensure sound budgetary control, treasury management and compliance with donor agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all Country Office activities, including expenditure oversight and accountability.
• Conduct financial analysis of Country Office operations in coordination with the Chief of Mission and SRRMO.
• Supervise treasury functions, forecast cash flows and manage funds disbursement.
• Validate that funding is received and disbursed in line with donor agreements.
• Prepare programme and budget reports according to IOM regulations.
• Review monthly accounts and analyse variances between budgeted and actual expenditures.
• Assist the Chief of Mission and Project Managers in preparing budgets for new projects and programmes.
• Provide technical support throughout project cycles to ensure compliance with IOM instructions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and treasury operations.
• Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare accurate reports.
• Familiarity with donor‑fund compliance and fund‑disbursement procedures.
• Strong coordination skills to work with mission leadership and regional officers.
