Remote Script Writer – Creative Storytelling

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media formats, including YouTube videos, commercials, television and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn ideas into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with brand voice and audience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Collaborate with directors, producers and creative teams during brainstorming and story development.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and pace action to advance plot and develop characters.
• Participate in script readings and revise drafts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years proven experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with understanding of pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to take constructive criticism.
• Robust portfolio showcasing diverse scripts or produced work.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
