Remote Business Development Consultant – Commission Based

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Remote Business Development Consultant to expand our client base across Zimbabwe. You will work independently to identify and engage businesses involved in customs clearing, freight forwarding, import‑export, logistics coordination and supply‑chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential clients throughout Zimbabwe.
• Build and maintain a structured business development database.
• Engage importers, exporters, manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and other trade‑related businesses.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule introductory meetings.
• Record prospect interactions and update pipeline metrics.
• Provide regular market insights and pipeline reports.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with business owners and decision‑makers.
• Self‑driven, disciplined and able to work remotely.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Comfortable with prospecting and business development activities.
• Experience in sales, logistics, procurement, trading or related fields is an advantage.
