Relationship Manager – Chinese Desk

About the role

CBZ Bank Limited is seeking a Relationship Manager for its Chinese Desk within the Corporate Banking Division. The role focuses on building and deepening banking relationships with the Chinese business community, delivering tailored financial solutions, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Chinese corporate clients.
• Understand client needs and present customized financial products and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative offerings for the Chinese portfolio.
• Conduct regular client visits, resolve issues promptly, and lead business reviews.
• Increase transactional volumes, cross‑sell and upsell bank products, and grow wallet share.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assess client risk profiles, recommend credit facilities, and mitigate portfolio risks.
• Gather client feedback, prepare performance reports, and maintain accurate interaction records.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Financial Engineering, Science, Technology or related field.
• Professional qualification such as an IOBZ diploma is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relationship management experience, preferably in financial services.
• Fluent Mandarin (essential) and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of ESG principles and their impact on clients.
