Registered Nurse – Full-time, On-site in Harare

About the role

The organization is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Nurse to provide direct patient care within its Harare facility. You will work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and document clinical information accurately.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures following clinical protocols.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and adhere to infection prevention and control standards.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and participate in handovers.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Formal nursing qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse) with current registration on the relevant nursing council.
• Experience in hospital wards, clinics, or primary‑care settings.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, basic life support, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with patients, families, and teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and culturally sensitive care.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and quality‑improvement activities.
• Prior experience in Harare or similar healthcare environments is an advantage.
