Project Coordinator – Conservation Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the design, implementation and reporting of trans‑boundary conservation projects for Peace Parks Foundation. Reporting to the Senior Project Coordinator, the role bridges landscape teams, field staff and technical specialists to ensure proposals and reports meet donor and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational priorities into project concepts, log‑frames, work plans and budgets for funding proposals.
• Coordinate and consolidate technical, financial and operational inputs from multiple contributors to produce coherent proposal packages.
• Capture new projects and their requirements in the Peace Parks Project Management system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including CEO and donor‑specific reports, by gathering and verifying narrative, technical and financial data.
• Track reporting commitments and follow up with contributors to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Ability to work onsite in Harare, Livingstone or Lusaka.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Experience in project coordination or similar roles within the non‑profit or conservation sector.
