Nutrition Manager

About the role

The Nutrition Manager will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of nutrition programs for clients and partner organisations in Harare. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on developing evidence‑based meal plans, nutrition guidelines and educational resources that support health and wellness objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of target groups and develop tailored nutrition programs.
• Create meal plans and evidence‑based nutrition guidelines aligned with health goals.
• Deliver nutrition education, workshops and training sessions to community partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor program outcomes, ensure compliance with standards and maintain accurate records.
• Mentor and supervise team members, fostering continuous improvement of nutrition initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organisations and internal teams to promote healthy lifestyles.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines and public‑health principles.
• Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation for nutrition or wellness initiatives.
• Ability to conduct client assessments, develop individualized nutrition counseling and meal planning.
• Excellent organizational and reporting abilities, including accurate documentation and data tracking.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for education, training and stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health or related field; professional certification or registration preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively on‑site in Harare, manage multiple priorities and uphold high ethical standards.
