About the role

This role provides essential custodial support for church facilities, ensuring a clean, respectful, and spiritually uplifting environment for members and missionaries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform journey‑level custodial work, including cleaning, dusting, and maintaining all assigned areas.
• Operate equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, vacuums, and other motorized tools.
• Maintain a neat home environment: make beds, do laundry, and arrange accommodations for missionaries and mission leaders.
• Replace draperies, chandeliers, lights, and set up meeting rooms as requested.
• Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely using gloves, masks, and other protective gear.
• Report maintenance issues to the facilities management team and keep records of problems.
• Work unsupervised while following directions from mission leaders and the facilities manager.

Required profile

• Current and valid temple recommend or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb stairs, and work with cleaning equipment.
• Good English comprehension for verbal and written instructions.
• Completion of safety and equipment‑usage training.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and task organization.

Required skills

• Operation of buffers, carpet cleaners, and vacuum cleaners.
• Use of cleaning chemicals with appropriate safety equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency.
