Media Liaison

About the role

Abmodas Productions is looking for a full‑time Media Liaison to join its Harare office. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, drafting press releases, and supporting public‑relations activities that promote the company’s film and television projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with local and regional media contacts.
• Write, edit, and distribute press releases and media kits for upcoming productions.
• Coordinate press events, screenings, and media visits.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
• Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• Proven experience in media relations or public‑relations, preferably within the entertainment or media production industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
