Mechanical Engineering Technician – Forke Machine Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician specialized in Forke machines to lead the operation and maintenance of our packaging line. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance of the Focke SFW Flow‑wrap packing machine in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Focke SFW Flow‑wrap packing machine.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and compliance with safety standards.
• Train and support junior technicians on machine handling and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Preferably experience in a secondary tobacco manufacturing facility.
• Certified by the Focke Academy in Mechanics and completed all required training courses.
• Valid certificate for operating and setting the Focke SFW Flow‑wrap packing machine.
