Market Lead – Animal Health

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an experienced Market Lead to drive commercial growth and market development for animal health products across Zimbabwe and neighboring markets. The role combines strategic marketing, partnership building, and execution of go‑to‑market plans in a dynamic, multi‑country environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement go‑to‑market and marketing strategies to accelerate business growth.
• Lead annual marketing plans, campaigns, and product positioning initiatives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales teams and distributors to increase product adoption.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Provide training, tools, and marketing support to field teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor sales performance, market share, and profitability.
• Work cross‑functionally with Regulatory, Technical, and Finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or a related field.
• 5–7 years of marketing or commercial experience in the animal health industry.
• Proven experience managing multi‑country or regional markets.
• Strong understanding of animal health markets and regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking ability.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Zimbabwe and the region.
