Legal Graduate Trainee

About the role

Pan African Mining Corp. is seeking a full‑time Legal Graduate Trainee to join its Harare office. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience supporting the legal team across mining and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft contracts, agreements and other legal documents related to mining operations and corporate activities.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory, environmental and corporate issues.
• Assist with compliance monitoring and prepare summaries and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support legal consulting for internal departments and respond to legal queries.
• Contribute to risk assessments for company projects.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Participate in meetings with external counsel and regulators.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to local and international legal standards.

Required profile

• Recent law graduate or final‑year law student from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundation in law with ability to analyze mining, corporate and regulatory issues.
• Eligibility to practice law or intent to pursue bar admission is an advantage.
• Strong research, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Harare, handle confidential information responsibly and collaborate in a team environment.
• Interest or experience in mining, natural resources or corporate law; familiarity with local and regional regulatory frameworks is beneficial.
