IT Administrator

About the role

AGL (Africa Global Logistics), a multimodal logistics operator now part of the MSC Group, is hiring an IT Administrator in Harare, Zimbabwe. The role ensures that the company's information technology systems run efficiently, securely and reliably, providing day-to-day management and support of the IT infrastructure so employees can work without technology disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain computer systems, networks, servers and IT equipment.
• Manage the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, and handle user administration.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users.
• Ensure IT system security, data backups and business continuity.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and design smart applications, workflows and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, and analyse business data to give management actionable insights.
• Work with departments to develop technology-based solutions and recommend emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Administration and Digital Solutions.
• Experience with automation, AI tools and business analytics.
• Strong problem-solving, innovation and stakeholder management skills.
