Head of Affluent Banking

About the role
The Head of Affluent Banking will lead the bank’s Prime, Private and Wealth Management segments, shaping strategy and delivering a differentiated, high‑touch experience for affluent and high‑net‑worth clients. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for portfolio growth, profitability and integration of digital and physical channels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Affluent Banking strategy in line with overall retail banking objectives.
- Lead the customer value proposition across Prime, Private and Wealth Management segments.
- Drive acquisition, growth and retention of affluent and high‑net‑worth customers.
- Oversee dedicated Affluent and Private Banking branches and ensure seamless channel integration.
- Design and enhance banking, lending, investment and wealth solutions for affluent clients.
- Identify cross‑selling and share‑of‑wallet opportunities across Retail, Corporate, Treasury and group subsidiaries.
- Build strategic partnerships locally, regionally and internationally to broaden product offerings.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk, service quality and implement corrective actions.
- Embed governance, risk and control frameworks for the segment.
- Foster a sales‑driven, advisory culture through coaching, talent development and succession planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Marketing or related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related discipline.
- Professional qualification in Banking, Private Banking or Wealth Management is an advantage.
- 8–10 years of progressive banking experience, preferably in Affluent, Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Proven track record in developing customer value propositions and financial solutions for affluent clients.
- Strong relationship‑building, networking and business development capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills.
