General Manager – Luxury Boutique Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Boutique Hotel and its private game reserve. The role combines luxury hospitality leadership with lodge‑specific operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inspirational leadership across all hotel, lodge and reserve functions.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations including accommodation, food & beverage, front office, housekeeping, maintenance, security and safari activities.
• Maintain the highest standards of luxury presentation, safety and guest satisfaction.
• Drive revenue through effective pricing, sales initiatives and cost control.
• Prepare and deliver annual business plans, budgets and strategic objectives.
• Develop, coach and mentor a high‑performing leadership team.
• Collaborate with the ownership group, regional office and sales & marketing teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior management experience in luxury hotel or boutique lodge environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting financial targets.
• Ability to be highly visible to guests and staff, delivering memorable experiences.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and team‑building skills.
• Commitment to sustainability, conservation and operational excellence.
