Deployment Handler – Security Operations (Harare)

About the role

The Deployment Handler will oversee the recruitment, deployment and supervision of security guards for client sites in Harare. This role ensures that personnel are properly equipped, compliant with policies, and that client expectations are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and select security guards in line with company standards.
• Coordinate deployment and redeployment of guards to client locations.
• Supervise and monitor guards to ensure compliance with policies and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections and patrols, including day and night checks.
• Investigate incidents, complaints and disciplinary matters involving security staff.
• Ensure all deployed guards have appropriate uniforms, PPE and operational resources.
• Maintain accurate records of deployments, attendance, incidents and site inspections.
• Liaise with clients, address operational concerns promptly and prepare operational reports for management.
• Assist in training, induction and mentoring of newly recruited guards.
• Coordinate emergency responses and provide operational support when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations, guard supervision or deployment management.
• Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence (mandatory); Class 4 licence is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deployments.
• Good report‑writing and administrative skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
