Creative Designer – Remote (Zimbabwe)

About the role

Ekhaya Ventures is seeking a motivated Creative Designer to shape the visual identity of its portfolio of ventures. This remote position offers a junior‑level professional the chance to work directly with the Founder, creating consistent and compelling visual content for both digital and print media.

Key responsibilities

• Design engaging graphics for social media platforms.
• Create marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, banners, and presentation decks.
• Develop website graphics and promotional assets for product launches.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets.
• Prepare designs for both digital and print production.
• Organise and manage the company’s design asset library.
• Contribute creative ideas to strengthen brand positioning.

Required profile

• Strong graphic design fundamentals with a keen eye for layout, typography, and colour.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage own workload independently.
• Good communication skills and openness to constructive feedback.
• Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (or similar design software).
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Basic motion graphics or video editing abilities.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Illustration and photography skills.
• Experience with AI‑powered creative tools.
