Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a seasoned Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The expert will contribute to market development, innovation ecosystems and investment readiness across African and European space sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analyses and feasibility studies for space and geospatial sectors in Africa and the EU.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialization pathways and prepare organisations for investment.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, policy dialogue and private‑sector engagement.
• Provide advisory services on investment readiness and access to finance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory in technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets.
• Strong understanding of African space markets and investment ecosystems is an asset.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese considered a plus.
