Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System solutions for a fully remote environment. You will translate design mock‑ups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, including custom themes, modules, and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and conduct performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, handle backups, updates, and user authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Produce clean code and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• API integration, database management, and custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
