About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers at SMEDCO’s Bulawayo office, providing professional front‑desk service and supporting daily administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors, answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry and handling correspondence.
- Maintain and organise records and documents.
- Coordinate office activities and liaise with other departments.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, Business Management or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a reception or administrative role.
- Familiarity with the SME sector or lending environment is an advantage.
- Clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
