Medical Officer – Plastic Surgery Department

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Medical Officer to join our Department of Plastics. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical care across pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative phases for both in‑patients and out‑patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accurate medical record‑keeping.
• Participate in pre‑op, intra‑op, post‑op assessments and regular patient reviews.
• Assist in clinic preparation, patient consultations, and operating theatre procedures under supervision.
• Join mobile clinic teams for patient triage.
• Contribute to clinical governance through M&M meetings, quality improvement projects and audits.
• Report to senior management and liaise between administrative and medical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine.
• Successful completion of internship.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in a similar role.
• Interest in developing expertise in plastic surgery.
