ICT Graduate Trainee – Tech Talent Incubator

About the role

Old Mutual’s Tech Talent Incubator offers recent ICT graduates a hands‑on graduate trainee programme. Based in Harare, you will work with cutting‑edge technologies to support our Pan‑African businesses and gain exposure across data science, cloud, DevOps, SecOps and software engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Apply modern technology solutions to deliver value for customers and intermediaries.
• Participate in rotational assignments across different technical disciplines.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test and deploy software components.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives that enhance the Old Mutual brand.

Required profile

• Age 26 or younger and Zimbabwean citizenship.
• Willingness to relocate to Harare.
• Minimum 65% average in the final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree (e.g., BCom Information Systems, BSc IT Systems, BCom Computer Science, Diploma/Advanced Diploma in IT).
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and certification in emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, C++, HTML or Python.
