Founding Resource Mobilisation Associate

About the role

WildEd Zim is looking for a proactive, mission‑aligned individual to join its founding team as a Founding Resource Mobilisation Associate. This hybrid volunteer position, based in Harare with remote flexibility, will help drive the organisation’s sustainability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify grant and donor opportunities.
• Support partnership development and sponsorship outreach.
• Assist in drafting and refining proposals and funding applications.
• Coordinate strategic resource mobilisation activities.
• Contribute ideas to institutional growth processes and strategic discussions.
• Help strengthen long‑term sustainability systems as the organisation expands.

Required profile

• Strong communication, writing, and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Interest in conservation, sustainability, education, youth development, or nonprofit work.
• Self‑motivated, professional, and initiative‑driven.
• Experience or exposure to grant writing, fundraising, proposal development, partnerships, or nonprofit resource mobilisation (advantageous).
• Academic background in Development Studies, Environmental Science, Conservation, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, International Relations, or related fields (advantageous).
