Educational Sales Representative – Zimbabwe

About the role

Macmillan Education – College Press is seeking an Educational Sales Representative to drive sales growth and raise brand visibility across Zimbabwe. The role involves building strong relationships with schools, booksellers, government education bodies, donor agencies and other key partners to promote the company’s textbooks and digital resources.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through regular visits to schools, bookshops and other clients, promoting products and increasing brand visibility.
• Develop and implement a regional sales plan, including sales visits and follow‑ups, to increase revenue and market share.
• Prepare annual sales forecasts for the region and review them quarterly to reflect market changes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and shifts in the education environment to identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate regional sales information, including school and bookshop contacts and client databases.
• Prepare and submit fortnightly performance reports and market intelligence to Head Office.
• Manage regional orders and coordinate deliveries to clients.
