Educational Sales Representative – Zimbabwe

About the role

Macmillan Education – College Press is seeking an Educational Sales Representative to expand its presence across Zimbabwe. Based in Harare, you will promote the company’s textbooks and digital resources to schools, bookshops and other education partners, driving sales growth and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through regular visits to schools, bookshops and other clients.
• Develop and execute a regional sales plan, including sales visits, follow‑ups and forecasting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and changes in the education environment to identify opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date regional sales information and client databases.
• Prepare fortnightly performance reports and market intelligence for head office.
• Manage regional orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Zimbabwean education landscape.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and respond to opportunities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
