Client Manager – Solar PV & Energy Storage Projects

About the role

Chronos Consulting is seeking a Client Manager to lead the development of solar PV and energy storage projects across Africa. You will identify new business opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop solar PV and energy storage projects in African markets.
• Conduct site surveys, investment assessments, and review local renewable energy policies.
• Verify project documentation and evaluate overall project feasibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with project owners, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
• Organise and participate in commercial negotiations and coordinate with internal departments and external organisations.
• Draft agreements, MOUs, contracts and related documents, and oversee contract signing and implementation planning.
• Coordinate commercial matters throughout project development and construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV or renewable energy project development.
• Experience with commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects is preferred.
• Ability to conduct investment analysis, negotiate business deals, and prepare feasibility reports independently.
• Familiarity with the power industry, renewable energy sector, and government liaison.
• Basic English and Chinese communication skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and report‑writing abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
