Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will provide overall strategic leadership and direction for Nash Paints, ensuring sustainable growth and market competitiveness. This is a full‑time, onsite position based in Zimbabwe.

Key responsibilities

• Set long‑term business objectives and oversee financial performance.
• Guide operational excellence across all departments, optimizing processes and supply chains.
• Lead business development and drive sales growth to strengthen the company’s position in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
• Collaborate with the executive team, engage with key customers and stakeholders, and manage risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture and support talent development.
• Represent Nash Paints in industry and community forums.

Required profile

• Strong finance and business planning expertise.
• Proven operations management capability.
• Demonstrated sales and market development experience.
• Advanced strategic planning skills.
• Prior senior leadership experience, ideally as a CFO or executive in manufacturing, paints, or related industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Track record of building and leading diverse, high‑performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of the Southern African business environment and regulatory landscape.
