About the role
The Buyer / Admin Officer will support the organisation by handling procurement activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing general office administration. The role is based in Chinhoyi and may involve travel to suppliers and project sites.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and log site requisitions for materials, spares, consumables and tools.
- Source quotations, compare prices, availability and delivery times.
- Prepare purchase summaries for approval and follow up on orders.
- Track materials from order placement through to site delivery.
- Maintain procurement registers, file quotations, invoices and delivery notes.
- Communicate any delays, shortages or urgent requirements to relevant parties.
- Provide general office administration support when needed.
Required profile
- Qualification in procurement, supply chain, business administration or related field (advantageous).
- Experience in buying, procurement, administration or supplier coordination.
- Strong communication and follow‑up abilities.
- Organised, accurate and able to work under pressure.
- Experience in mining, construction, logistics or plant spares is a plus.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
