Business Development Officer – Tech Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven, tech‑savvy Business Development Officer to expand our commercial footprint across telecommunications, fintech and IT sectors. The role will identify growth opportunities, build high‑impact partnerships and champion innovative tech products and digital financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and capture new market segments for enterprise IT solutions, telecom services and fintech ecosystems.
• Build and nurture strategic alliances with mobile network operators, financial institutions, tech vendors and corporate clients.
• Drive commercialization of technology products, software solutions and fintech platforms by pitching to decision‑makers.
• Source, pitch and close high‑value B2B contracts, SaaS subscriptions and infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to prepare competitive proposals, RFP responses and commercial bids.
• Monitor sales pipelines, track market trends and report on commercial performance against targets.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the technology, telecommunications and fintech landscapes.
• Proven track record in B2B tech sales, solution selling or strategic partnership development.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and closing abilities, translating complex technical concepts into business value.
• High commercial acumen, self‑driven and adaptable to a fast‑paced technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, IT, Economics or related field, with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
