Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead end-to-end supply chain activities for Varun Beverages Zimbabwe, ensuring efficient demand planning, procurement, inventory control and logistics across the Harare operation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee demand planning and forecasting based on historical data and market trends.
• Manage procurement, supply, inventory and logistics coordination.
• Supervise warehouse managers and coordinate daily stock transfers and sales order dispatches.
• Collaborate with plant, quality, sales and finance teams on operational matters.
• Ensure inventory availability at depots and compliance with storage and quality standards.
• Design and implement processes to control theft, leakage, expiry and shortages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or beverage industry supply chain roles.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, optimise processes and support decision-making.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
