Senior Investment Analyst – Private Equity

About the role

Senior alternative‑investments professional responsible for private‑equity origination, modelling, diligence, execution and portfolio valuation. The role covers the full investment lifecycle from market and company research to term‑sheet negotiation, closing and ongoing portfolio monitoring. It sits within Old Mutual Alternative Investments, separate from the general asset‑management team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and evaluate private‑equity investment opportunities.
• Conduct due‑diligence, structure deals, prepare term sheets and closing documentation.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for target companies.
• Monitor portfolio‑company performance, update valuations and prepare regular reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the investment process.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accountancy or a related field.
• CFA, CA or CAIA qualification completed or in progress.
• Minimum five years of experience in investment processes or management consulting.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to communicate findings effectively.
• Proven relationship‑building skills.
