Marketing Assistant

About the role

Join Avani Victoria Falls Resort as a Marketing Assistant and help promote the hotel’s brand, products, and services. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to execute day‑to‑day marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and drive guest engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing and communications campaigns.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and data collection to support strategy development.
• Coordinate promotional activities, events, partnerships, and brand activations.
• Create and distribute content for social media, email campaigns, website, and other channels.
• Maintain the hotel’s digital presence, ensuring content is current and aligned with brand standards.
• Monitor campaign performance, prepare KPI reports, and manage marketing calendars.
• Organise marketing collateral, image libraries, and other assets.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, purchase orders, invoicing, and supplier coordination.

Required profile

• Creative, organised, and results‑oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Familiarity with email marketing tools and basic content management systems.
• Basic market research and data analysis capabilities.
