Market Lead – Animal Health (Zimbabwe)

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Market Lead to drive commercial growth and market development for its animal health portfolio across Zimbabwe and neighboring markets. The ideal candidate combines strong marketing expertise with a deep understanding of the animal health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market and marketing strategies to accelerate business growth.
• Lead annual marketing plans, campaigns, and product positioning initiatives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities.
• Support sales teams and distributors to increase product adoption.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Provide training, tools, and marketing support to field teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor sales performance, market share, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Technical, Finance, and other cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in marketing or commercial roles within the animal health industry.
• Proven experience managing multi‑country or regional markets.
• Strong understanding of animal health markets and regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with a results‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Zimbabwe and the region.
