IT Support Technician – Harare

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Harare. You will provide first‑line technical assistance to staff, ensuring that computers, printers, mobile devices and network connections operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Respond to user requests and support tickets via phone, email or chat.
• Install and configure operating systems, software applications and hardware peripherals.
• Monitor basic local network connections and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
• Create employee accounts, reset passwords and manage access permissions.
• Log support calls, track repairs and document solutions in the ticketing system.
• Train staff on the safe and effective use of new hardware and software.

Required profile

• National Foundation Certificate, National Certificate, National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum of five O‑Level passes including English and Mathematics.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on technical or customer‑service experience.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Hardware repair and peripheral configuration.
